Mel – Owner

Mel is Mrs Stevie English, she co-owns the salon and attempts to keep everyone in line. After completing a Communications Arts degree, Mel had a couple of babies, opened Stevie English Hair and has been juggling ever since. In her spare time (hahahaha) she can be found at the beach, the playground, ogling shoes on the internet, or channelling Martha Stewart and baking like a demon.

2. Who is your style hero?  Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Alexander McQueen RIP.

3. What music are you into right now? Hip Hop, Soul, and Rock‘n’Roll.

4. What is the last book you read?  Naked by David Sedaris-he is a genius of humour.

5. What is your favourite movie?  Secretary.
