Raquel – Assistant and Makeup Artist

Raquel is one of our newer appprentices, she is a great makeup artist who brings along a keen eye of fashion and hair, she wants to be a session stylist and will go along way!

The Stevie English Hair  Q & A

1. What’s your favourite city in the world? Tokyo was fun as it was structured yet completely random. I want to visit London and Paris though.

2. Who is your style hero? My makeup style heroes include Rachel Montgomery, Victoria Baron, Nadine Luke and Chantel Miller. Hair idols are Miss V, Daniel Nunn and Raquel Reed. Though her hair may be a little insane, I really wish I could pull of turquoise as well as she does. For clothing I like Patricia Fields, the Olsen twins, Marc Jacobs, Balmain, Sass & Bide and Camilla & Marc.

3. What music are you into right now? Florence & the Machine, Papa Roach, Children Collide, Prince and Silversun Pickups.

4. What is the last book you read? Lovely Bones, The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest and True Blood #8 – Dead and Gone.

5. What is your favourite movie? Dakota Sky, Rules of Attraction, Quills, Mysterious Skin.

7. What is your favourite car? I’m not really into cars, but I do love my best friend’s beat up old blue mini moris minor.

8. Who is your favourite UK fashionista? Kiera Knightly, Kate Moss.

9. Blondes/ Brunettes ? Red or real colour.

10. Turkey or prawns for Christmas lunch? Turkey please…or chicken…

11. Cats or Dogs? I have both! Though I may just love my little kitten Tyae more. Don’t tell Berlin!
