Razor cut - a hair cutting process in which sharp, knife like razors are used to excise, slice and texturize hair. The Stevie English Hair stylist gathers the individual’s hair, and razors the hairs at an angle, sliding it down the shaft. It is not for all hair types.

Receding - a hairline or male pattern baldness is thinning of the hair at the temples and around the hairline at the front .

Reconstructors Usually containing hydrolised protein, their role is to penetrate the hair and strengthen its structure through polymer crosslinking. A reconstructive treatment is great for highly coloured and powder lightened hair.

Regrowth is the term used for the natural hair growing back after a colour service.

Redhead Rangas, gingers, whatever you want to call them, redheads have more fun, it’s proven. They are also 10% sexier than non-redheads. Fact.

Respect We believe in respect at Stevie English Hair, respecting our clients, respecting choices and respecting your hair

Rollers An old-fashioned but useful tool, probably used by your grandmother, but they are still to this day the best way to get certain hairstyles. A hair roller is usuallly a roller with Velcro or a pin that is used to set hair. You can also use empty Diet Coke cans, just like Lady Gaga.

Roots (see regrowth)

Root Volume The roots  of the hair are dried in an upwards motion to create lift and big hair, your Stevie English Hairstylist will prescribe you with a product to help.
