Occipital bone The saucer-shaped bone situated at the back and lower part of the head. Hairdressers use it as guidelines for colour and haircuts.

Oily A term used to describe a type of hair that tends to be quite greasy or oily, usually because of overactive glands in the hair (see sebaceous glands).
