Fading Hair colour fades for many reasons: quality of hair, exposure to salt and chlorinated water, air, sun and bad products can all cause colour to fade.To counteract fading, ask your Stevie English Hair Stylist to prescribe colour maintenance products and treatments. when cropping the hair with clippers and the hair fades from one length to another, 4, 3, 2, 1 and out to skin
Fading Glory Fading glory is the term used for men who have had hair and still have hair at the back (mullet) but are now really thinning or bald on top.

Fingerwaves Flat ‘S’ bend waves sculpted onto the head by the fingers, and secured with pins. The hair is set in place, the pins are removed and the waves remain. Reference: 1940s film stars like Greta Garbo.

French Braid A plait that starts with 3 sections and runs flat along the head adding hair to each as it goes, much like a corn or can row except a lot bigger, often only one or 2 plaits for the entire head of hair.
French Pin A hair pin used in a French Roll and many ‘up-do’s’, a small open ended, smooth loop of wire.
French Roll Or ‘twist’-classic hairstyle where the hair is rolled up from the nape to the crown and swept from the front to the crown in a clean, glamorous style. Reference: Katharine Hepburn, and more recently Kate Winslet at the 2009 Golden Globes.
Frizz – When curly hair is dry or damaged it will frizz, and knot up leading to split ends. Simple answer is treatment, treatment, treatment, hydrate and conquer!
